For freelance developers and small studios
From a client brief to a discovery plan you can quote from.
Paste a brief and answer a few clarifying questions. Briefcase writes the plan: open questions, risks, features, tickets with acceptance criteria, and hours for every ticket.
1.Brief
Paste what the client sent: a brief, an email thread, or your call notes.
2.Questions
We ask up to eight clarifying questions that could change the scope or the estimate. Answer what you know and skip the rest.
3.Plan
The plan streams in section by section. Edit or regenerate any section, then export it.
What you get
Open questions and risks
What still needs answering before a fixed quote, and what could move the timeline. Skipped questions carry over.
Features and tickets
Up to twelve features in build order, each with tickets and acceptance criteria a reviewer can check.
Two estimates per ticket
π€ hours for a developer directing coding agents, and π§ hours for the same work by hand. Totals add up from the tickets.
Markdown and PDF
Copy the plan as Markdown for a proposal or a ticket tracker, or download a PDF to send the client.
A plan takes about two minutes.
Briefcase is invite-only for now. Tell us what you build, and weβll send a link.
